ME might have to be a trilogy I play through slowly, over the years. If I'm going to play it at all, I want to play it first. That's why I'm sure there's more to the game than what I experienced and why now I wonder if I should go back and play it before part 2, (assuming I'll even get into part 2), or simply play the comic. If thats all there was to the game, I think we can agree, it would be a flop.īut, we all know the game isnt a shooter, or at least, not just a shooter, and I fully admit I got turned off quickly, (I think about 2 hours,) and I never got a chance to see any of the RPG parts shine. It feels stiff, the weapon was dull (the one you start with) graphics and movement just weren't up to other shooters. My impression was it was a shooter with RPG elements.Īs a pure shooter, its a terrible game.

How do I use DLC in Linux for Crusader Kings II? Is there some master DLC on/off switch? I have tried uninstalling the game and re-installing: Same issue. Also if I try to click on "ruler designer" at the start of a game, I am also told I need the DLC, again I have it. At the start of a new game I can not choose Viking Age: The icon states that the Old Gods DLC is required - but I have it. The problem is that the DLC does not work. Also I can see the DLC files in /data/Steam_Library/steamapps/common/Crusader Kings II/DLC. The DLC I purchased is listed in the steam client when I right-click on Crusader Kings II and select 'View Downloadable Content". The startup sequence is very slow - but running in windowed mode and moving the window around speeds it up. The core Crusader Kings II seems to work well.
